President Viktor Yuschenko has traveled to the Kharkiv region to attend the final of soccer's Ukrainian Cup between the Dynamo Kyiv and Shakhtar Donetsk soccer clubs.

The presidential press service announced this in a statement.

Yuschenko will present the cup to the winner of the match.

Yuschenko will also lay flowers at the Marshall Konev Heights memorial and visit the museum called "Kharkiv Region in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945" during the visit.

He will also meet with war veterans and present state awards to them.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Dynamo Kyiv won the Ukrainian Cup in 2007.
