Lithuania is ready to assist Ukraine in provision of information about NATO to the population, Foreign Affairs Ministry press service informs.
On May 6, Ukraine's Ambassador to Lithuania Ihor Prokopchuk met with Lithuanian Foreign Affairs Minister Petras Vaitiekunas and thanked him for stable assistance provided by Lithuania to Ukraine on the latter's way to the European Union and NATO.
In its turn, the minister confirmed readiness of Lithuania to continue assistance in implementation of Ukraine's strategic plans to obtain membership of the European Union and NATO.
In particular, Vaitiekunas offered participation of Lithuanian experts in holding effective campaign on informing the Ukrainians about NATO.
Besides, the parties of the negotiation discussed issues of international and regional character.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Visegrad group, including Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, intends to assist Ukraine in NATO informational campaign.
