Chair of the State Property Fund Valentyna Semeniuk-Samsonenko, suspended by the Cabinet of Ministers, is warning investors against participation in the tender for selling 99.52% in the Odesa portside factory, resumption of which was announced by acting SPF head Andrii Portnov,
Semeniuk-Samsonenko has announced this at a press conference.
"In this situation engaging investors in buying the target (the Odesa portside factory) is dangerous, because it will be challenged in court," said Semeniuk-Samsonenko.
She also said that she is not sure that security deposits of the bidders in the resumed tender will be returned to them.
As Ukrainian News reported, on April 25, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko introduced Andrii Portnov to the staff of the State Property Fund as the acting chairman of the SPF, referring to an April 24 decision of Kyiv District Administrative Court, which ceased President Viktor Yuschenko's decrees suspending the reshuffling at the State Property Fund.
Then, the SPF press service announced that Valentyna Semeniuk-Samsonenko is still managing the State Property Fund.
Before, Semeniuk-Samsonenko accuses the Cabinet of Ministers of attempt to sell Odesa Portside Plant to companies belonging to Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko team representatives.
