Kharkiv-based Lemma insurance company has reinsured a hotel complex Al Hamra Fort Hotel & Beach Resort in the United Arab Emirates.
The insurer made this statement.
The complex is located on a seacoast in Ras Al Khaimah.
It includes a five-star hotel, swimming pools, and some cottages.
According to original insurance contracts, the complex was insured against all the property risks.
In all the insurance contract costs USD 52 million in equivalent.
The company's share in the risk is 5%, so its liability makes USD 2.6 million.
The risk was reinsured through a broker in Egypt.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Lemma was founded as a closed joint-stock company in Kharkiv in 1994.
51% stake in the insurance company belongs to London-based Lemma Cosmos, Great Britain, and also 25.86% to an individual.
