Ukraine and Poland have reached agreement on cooperation in organizing the finals of the 2012 European soccer championship.
Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko and Poland's Prime Minister Donald Tusk signed the intergovernmental agreement in Kyiv.
The agreement provides for setting up a joint commission and coordinating all actions in all areas of preparation for the 2012 European soccer championship.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers on March 19 approved the draft of the agreement with Poland on cooperation in organizing the finals of the 2012 European soccer championship.
Ukraine and Poland won the right to co-host the UEFA's 2012 European soccer championship in April 2007.
The opening match of the championship will take place in Warsaw (Poland) and the final match in Kyiv.
