Tymoshenko Cancels Visit To Crimea To Prepare For Extended Meeting Of Cabinet On March 26 (13:11, Tuesday, March 25, 2008)

Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has canceled her visit to Crimea to prepare for an extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on March 26, Wednesday.

Ukrainian News learned this from Maryna Soroka, the press secretary for the prime minister.

Soroka said the preparations for the extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on the performance of the government in first 100 days were underway.

Representatives of all factions of the Verkhovna Rada and heads of state agencies would be invited,

Earlier, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers and the Web site of Yulia Tymoshenko announced Tymoshenko's visit to Crimea on March 25 to take part in a meeting of the National Council for the issue of the cooperation between the government bodies and the bodies of local self-government.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko on March 19 announced that the Cabinet of Ministers would report on its 100 days of work on March 27 and March 28.

Tymoshenko's Cabinet of Ministers was formed and endorsed by the Verkhovna Rada on December 18, 2007.
