NJSC Naftohaz Ukrainy and its subsidiary Haz Ukrainy are planning to limit supplies of natural gas to municipal heating enterprise with debts.
This follows from the press service of Haz Ukrainy, a copy of which was made available to Ukrainian News.
"In order to bring natural gas consumption by communal heating enterprises to the level of confirmed resources, today working groups of Naftohaz Ukrainy and Haz Ukrainy have left for regions," the statement reads.
According to Haz Ukrainy, as of March 24, among the company's biggest debtors (for the gas consumed since October 1, 2007) were heat-supplying enterprises in Dnipropetrovsk region (debt of UAH 392.8 million, settlement level of 45%), Donetsk region (UAH 389.1 million, 54%), Kharkiv region (UAH 320.5 million, 50%), Luhansk region (UAH 171.3 million, 49%), Zaporizhia region (UAH 133.7 million, 62%), Lviv region (UAH 110 million, 54%) and other regions.
Since October 1, 2007, the enterprises have accumulated a total debt of UAH 2.358 billion, with the settlement level being 58%.
Apart from this, Haz Ukrainy says several communal heating enterprises are tending to accumulate even more debts.
Particularly, since October 1, 2007, the debt of Kharkiv Heating Networks has reached UAH 180.7 million, and the level of settlements - 59%, Dnipropetrovsk City Heating Networks - UAH 121.7 million and 28% respectively, DonetskTeploKomunEnerho - UAH 114.8 million and 48%, Zaporizhia concern "City Heating Networks" - UAH 98.3 million and 61%, Kryvyi Rih Heating Plant - UAH 84.5 million and 42%, KrymTeploKomunEnerho - UAH 78 million and 48%, LvivTeploEnerho - UAH 59.5 million and 50%, TeploKomunEnerho (Luhansk) - UAH 55.8 million and 39%, SumyTeploEnerho - UAH 32.5 million and 44%, ZhytomyrTeploKomunEnerho - UAH 28.7 million and 59%, PoltavaOblEnerho - UAH 28 million and 49%, VinnytsiaMiskTeploEnerho - UAH 18 million and 57%, BilotserkivTeploMerezhi - UAH 17.8 million and 67%, TeploEnerhoTsentrali (Kirovohrad) - UAH 9 million and 41%, Mykolaiv Cogeneration Plant - UAH 8.6 million and 68%, Kalush Cogeneration Plant - UAH 5.1 million and 41%.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Haz Ukrainy urged the gas distribution companies to supply 138 municipal heat distribution enterprises with gas in accordance with their limits.
Among 138 heat distribution companies, which do not fully pay for gas they receive, there are Kharkiv Heat Lines, Dnipropetrovsk City Heat Lines, Donetskteplokomunenerho, Donetskmiskteplosit, City Heat Lines Zaporizhia Concern, Krymteplokomunenerho, and others.
Earlier, Haz Ukrainy had not assigned natural gas limits for March 10-20 to 131 municipal heat enterprises due to considerable debts for the previously consumed fuel.
In mid-February, Haz Ukrainy urged gas distribution companies to limit gas supplies to heat distribution companies having considerable arrears for 2007-2008 heating season.
The company limited gas supllies to enterprises, which had exceeded the limits of fuel.
According to special monitoring of Haz Ukrainy, there were over 200 of such enterprises.
