President Viktor Yuschenko has undersigned the Law On Purchase Of Goods, Works, And Services At Government Costs.
This follows from a statement made by the presidential press service, referring to words by Ihor Pukshyn, deputy head of the President's Secretariat.
"Today the president has undersigned the law abolishing the Tender Chamber and the interagency commission for public procurements," the press service cites Pukshyn.
As Ukrainian News reported, on March 20, the Verkhovna Rada has abolished the law on public procurement of goods, labour and services and ordered the Cabinet of Ministers to approve transitional provisions on public procurement.
