The Cabinet of Ministers has appointed Yevhen Vilinskyi as deputy chair of the national agency preparing for and holding of the European Football Championship 2012 finals in Ukraine.
This follows from the Cabinet directive No. 465 of March 19.
Yevhen Chervonenko chairs the national agency for preparations for EURO 2012.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, in August 2007, the Cabinet decided to set up a national agency for preparation and holding in Ukraine of final matches of the European Football Championship in 2012.
The Cabinet appointed 70 employees to the National Agency in 2008, with annual increase of this number to 95 in 2011.
The agency began functioning on January 1, 2008.
