Minister of Emergency Situations and Protection of Population from Chornobyl Accident Consequences Volodymyr Shandra estimates creation of the emergency call system "112" at UAH 650 million.
Ukrainian News has learned this from the Emergency Ministry press service.
"In figures this is round UAH 650 million," the press service cites Shandra.
According to UEFA demands, by the European Football Championship 2012 the Ukrainian cities that will host the tournament games must have the emergency service "112".
As Ukrainian News reported, earlier the Emergency Situations Ministry planned to introduce the number 112 as the single telephone number for all the emergency services in Ukraine by the year 2012.
